We spent a lovely weekend with friends camping up at East Lake. Between family time, we did manage to get out on the water a little bit. Winds kept much of the dry fly action at bay during the day, but we did have one nice evening this past Saturday where the water glassed out.
I had a great fight with a healthy 16″ Kokanee who fell for a flashback PT nymph, and also caught a nice rainbow on a calibaetis dry that evening. Other outings yielded a small brown on a dry, and some chubby chubs who got to go airborne during the release 🙂
