You realize the sun doesn't go down
It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I’m slowly getting better at living by that lyric, but I still find myself longing for the ability to pause time during those fleeting moments where all is well in the world. After all, the sun setting is not an ending to anything, just another reminder that change is constantly happening.

For this particular transition from day, to night, the family and I were visiting Gold Beach, Oregon. It most definitely was one of those trips where I wished to pause time.
