It seems the world runs on this emotion lately. Any screen our eyes rest upon have an uncanny ability to feed images and sounds of things, or lack of things – the unknown, that we should be fearful of.
I really enjoyed this talk from Headspace about fear, and how our minds are conditioned to find fear quickly in our minds – which leads us to believe it is always there. And I also fully agree that a great way to help float along those waves of fear is to practice mindfulness via meditation. I’ve also added a really great guided meditation that takes place alongside the Merced River in Yosemite Valley.
